"In telling the story of "The Making of Faith," Victoria Baker begins with the positive statement that "everyone faces challenges" in life. She proceeds to tell how she meets her crushing challenges. Victoria does so with unabashed heroic faith. The unseen but ever-present Universal Power carries her through every step of the way and helps her to let go of the past and be fulfilled in the present." - Victor P.

Twenty plus years ago, I was praying and felt so connected to God's Spirit. He told me to write a book, I know it sounds strange. It was an inner knowing. He said His people had turned away. The Making of Faith, as God called it, would bring them back. But what did God mean? I know many people who know the Lord and really love Him. Perhaps you do too. I am embarrassed to admit, I didn't ask. But I was sassy enough to let God know His request to write "a book of tears" was ridiculous. He had the wrong person. I assured Him. I had no tears. Well, the tears came quite steadily through one son's autism diagnosis, lengthy battles for educational support, my marriage ending, and raising two young boys, now grown men. Incredibly, the book title was still available when it was time to put pen to paper. Was this Divine providence, I think so.
"This is a beautiful gem of a book. Victoria opens her heart with exquisite vulnerability and shares her story. She is a parent and a woman and a humble servant whose precious gift is that she reminds us that those moments that bring us to our knees are the ones that lift us to the heavens if we can find our faith through the fear and struggle."
