"I envisioned healing, believed it my heart, and saw it in my mind's eye. Step by step we were led to teachers, therapists, and healers, who helped us transform our world and lives. For a time we were broken but - we were made new! Yet, I think the growing happened in the way "of becoming." Dreaming, believing, and seeing are the rhythms of our life.
Becoming new is a natural, evolving state of being, never linear or boring, always becoming." - Victoria Baker

Flower Girl |
I am a mom of two sons, my oldest lives with autism. Within nine months of moving to a new town and home, I became a single parent of a first and second grader, now grown men. The responsibilities were daunting but faith, family, and friends loved and guided us through the changes of our new life.
And I had an extra blessing. The previous owner planted beautiful flowers which bloomed from month to month from early winter through fall. Their beauty and magnificence comforted me when challenges overwhelmed. I would get caught up and forget about my troubles long enough to soak in their beauty, taking photos to remember. They were, and still are symbols of hope for the three of us that God's Love is constant and ever-present.
In her later years, my Mom sweetly called me the Flower Girl. I just always wanted to bring flowers to my Mom to make her feel special and remind her of how much she was loved. She insisted that I stop, but I couldn't.
My garden flowers became the inspiration for my greeting cards, Flowers from the Garden found at my Etsy Shop,
Dream, Believe, See. I love trees and my flowers and realize how blessed I am to be surrounded by such beauty. I created affirmation cards to connect myself and others to the beautiful Spirit that lives within each of us. Mom passed away ten months to the day of Dad. Almost a year later, I discovered her peony flowers blooming as we readied their home for sale. Photos of my front yard peony plant along with my Mom's, grace seven cards which I hope are inspirational messages for your self-care and spiritual growth.
A friend keeps her affirmation cards in her kitchen and takes one out of the pouch, reading the message outloud, to herself, and holds the intention in her heart through the day. Friends return to the cards and even my books for encouragement, peace, and healing. That makes me so grateful that Love can touch our souls. I would love to hear how you embrace these affirmations. You can check out or purchase cards by clicking on buttons above. Wishing you joy always!
