Day 305 Grateful for my Ozzy Osbourne!
Happy Halloween 🎃🍂👻🍁all! |
I am sure I took more pictures of Danny as Ozzy than he wanted. That didn’t stop me. We laughed a lot.
Danny found Gram’s overcoat, borrowed my eyeliner, gathered his own jewelry and rocked the look! An incredible guitar player, not because I am mom, because he is that good, and he is not a stranger to long hair. As a senior at Rutgers, still zooming from home, it was great for Danny to get out and celebrate Halloween. Ozzy adopted his nickname, “Prince of Darkness” during his time as lead vocalist for Black Sabbath. Danny and I enjoyed watching Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour during the pandemic. Prince of Darkness was not fitting anymore. Ozzy Osbourne is a kind, humorous, and loving man. I loved that Danny personified his spirit and look that night and had a blast. I was happy my guy was getting out to be with friends. Detour would be an understatement of what the world and the human spirit endured in 2020. But there was light and laughter too, sometimes you had to search for it, create it, embrace it, or just be it. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” -John 1:5 (NIV) Laugh © Victoria Baker | GRATEFUL 2025 | October 2020 |
