Since I was a little girl, this Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi resonated with my spirit. What is your experience when you hear this prayer? Send me a quick note if it touches you too. And, If you need a little prayer, let me know and I will pray.
"God has taught me a lot about forgiveness and embracing autism. Being thankful in the toughest circumstance seems to bring us through it with great success and love. I pray God's Light will guide you in whatever you might be dealing with today. May joy be yours, always." - Victoria Baker Photo by DeLucia Digital
Lord make me
an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred,
Let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, Joy.
O Divine Master grant that I may
Not so much seek to be consoled
As to console;
To be understood,
As to understand;
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
And it is in dying that we are
Born to eternal life.
